SECOND QUARTER PROGRESS REPORT (APRIL – JUNE, 2026)

INTRODUCTION

“Now thanks be to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.” Indeed, God has remained faithful and committed to His word. We have every reason to give Him all the glory. We are grateful to Him for choosing us for this highly dignified assignment. The fruit of our labour together with our partners are becoming more visible. We are confident of the greater things He will do.

WEEK OF MISSIONS 2026

As a drive towards the fruitfulness that God promises this year, Week of Missions 2026 was tailored towards equipping believers with practical tools for productivity in their various mission engagement. The main speaker, Pst. Miracle Ishaya took time to talk on Disciple Making Movement (DMM) as a viable tool for a completed Great Commission. Volunteers were then called back after the conference, for an intensive training on how to run DMM. We pray for more fruit from the effort. Other seminars in the Week of Missions include Finance, Marital relationship (Single and Married), and Health. It was a very impactful conference. We really thank the Lord for blessing us with those that partnered with us in cash and kind, towards the success of Week of Missions 2026.

20 YEARS OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

We continue to give all praises to God for what He has been doing since the beginning of this ministry. Two decades ago, this ministry was just a burden and a vision given to Pst. Joshua Okpanachi Adah, “the man who obeyed God.” He ran with the vision committedly until His murder. We are grateful that people who believe in the vision also run with him, as we can see in the progress being made by the ministry so far, after 11 years of Pst. Jashua’s departure. The entire staff member expressed gratitude to God for all His faithfulness. We were blessed with the presence of the bishop of the Anglican Communion, Jalingo Diocese, Bishop Nedsison Foreman, who prayed for the ministry during the anniversary.

OPERATION CALEB

Sequel to the Week of Missions was a 2-day practical outreach to a rural community called Minda, in Jalingo, Taraba state. It was a period of holistic ministration during which over 500 natives were ministered to, in various ways. Among the session of ministry were prayer and counselling, medical, bathing, distribution of wears, plaiting of hair, etc. The outreach also involved a film show about Jesus Christ as recorded in the Gospel, in Hausa language. Many of the natives gave their live to Jesus Christ. We are really grateful to God.

TRINITY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

Some of our students participated in a number of inter-school and inter-state competitions recently and did well. Among the competition was the National Girls in ICT competition that is organized annually by the federal government. Our school came first in the state level and proceeded to represent Taraba state at the regional level. Network problem could not allow them to scale through the regional stage that was done virtually. They were eventually invited to the Federal Capital Territory to receive their award and had dinner with her excellency, the first lady of Nigeria. Other competitions include Essay writing and Art and Drama inter-school competition. Our students did very well in all the competitions. Most importantly, the discipleship structure for the pupils/students is being strengthened to ensure that they are thoroughly grounded in the faith. We also teach and train them to be mission-minded.

CHURCH PLANTING AND DISCIPLESHIP

The converts in all the villages are growing in Christ as God gives them experiences of His love and power. Asides our teaching and practical modelling of the life of Christ, their personal experiences and testimonies, continue to affirm to us that God is at work in them. We appreciate the Lord for drawing more of the natives from each of the villages to the church. We pray that they will be established in the faith.
